Helping Hands of Hope Foundation was created in the fall of 2009, when Lise Durand and Randalle Wong
met to discuss how they can directly help others who are less fortunately. This meeting resulted in the
formation of a charitable organization that in a very short time has made a ripple impact, affecting the lives of
hundreds of people throughout the world.

In February, 2012 Randalle Wong resigned to focus on her various businesses.

Lise Durand
President, Founder and Director

Lise Durand has worked with children and families for over 30 years as a professional social worker. Ms.
Durand has a Masters in Social Work with a specialization in Community Development. She is a registered
Social Worker in Alberta. She was in Nepal in 2008 and 2010. She was able to experience the day to day life
of the people of Nepal by living in their communities. She is currently the president and one of the founding
members of “Helping Hands of Hope”. Her goals are to be able to support and assist those individuals that
are already involved in various projects as well as to experience these projects first hand.

Debbie Bildfell
Board Member

Debbie Bildfell is a registered Social Worker in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She has been working with
children in Government care for 10 years. Prior to that Debbie ran a home child care center and worked in a
daycare center located near inner city Edmonton.

Debbie has always had a desire to help the people in her community and in the world. Debbie has
volunteered with new comers to Canada; as well as in her church and on a distress line.

Noreen Ford
Board Member

Noreen is a 32 year banker working in a variety of management positions. Noreen has supported a large
number of different charities but involved at the organizational level of the following:

5 years co-ordinated the Terry Fox Run for the City of Edmonton
2 years held the position of President of the Scotiabankers Association with a membership of 800
2 years held the position of Account Executive Officer for United Way
2 years on the Organizational Committee for the Woodbridge Farms Elementary School Children's
Christmas Store

Noreen has a warmth and enthusiasm that she brings to this team, as well as many years of experience. She
is a great asset to our team.

Dr. Patricia Sigurdson
Board Member

Patricia Sigurdson is a Doctor of Chiropractic in Sherwood Park, Alberta. She has been practising for over 23
years. Patricia is a kind, compassionate woman who has always felt drawn to do charity work and help the
less fortunate. She is very excited to become part of Helping Hands of Hope as this dream is becoming a
reality. The whole vision of Helping Hands fits in with Patricia's values by helping and teaching people to
learn to help themselves.

Past volunteer work includes campaigning for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Alberta Lung Association,
the Canadian Cancer Society, as well as participating for many years in the MS Society Bike-a-thon and Walk-
a-Thon. She has also volunteered at the Christmas Bureau.

Patricia would also like to go on a medical mission and work directly with the children and families that have
been touhed by Helping Hands of Hope.

Volunteers

We are grateful to have a team of very compassionate, energetic and involved
individuals. It is with the help of these individuals that our goals of providing
sustainable resources to people in need can be met. A great lesson in the power
of numbers being able to come together and successfully create an organization
with a common purpose.

The contributions of time, energy and skills are highly valued and needed.

We welcome anyone else who shares our ideals and who is able to commit any
amount of time or skill to our foundation, no matter how great or small!
